1965 Dodge Coronet 440 Convertible

Work in Progress

Tony writes: I purchased my 1965 Dodge Coronet 440 convertible in the fall of 2008 and am currently completing a cosmetic restoration. 1965 Dodge Coronet 440 convertible passenger side

This Mopar is “Ruby Red Poly” in color and is equipped with a 318 Polyspherical engine and 727 TorqueFlite transmission.

So far, I have converted the front drum brakes to discs with 11.75 inch rotors, rebuilt the front end with a kit from PST, and replaced the leaf springs with Mopar “HD” 6-leaf units using AR Engineering’s front hangers.

The body has been completely stripped of paint,
the little bit of rust it had has been removed,
and the Dodge is currently primed and ready for paint.
