Contact Steve if you can help!
I am setting up a Max Wedge/ Hemi Super Stock historical display of ORIGINAL cars and some parts for Spring Fling 2000 April 15 and 16, Van Nuys CA www.cpwclub.com
This display will be at the entrance to the show between the entrance road and the show cars. Currently, I have 6 original cars committed so far and about 5 cars that have very good possibility. But the list is growing.
This could/should be the largest display of cars of this kind in the West. The NHRA museum is interested in bringing out one or two cars and have booth to promote the museum.
Display car owners will receive: very nice (~$55) display/appreciation trophy, show T-shirt, goody bag, free car admission. Display vehicles will immediately enter the park and not have to wait in the registration lines. The display area will be between the entrance road and the regular show cars. Your spots will be reserved, have extra space between cars, and lined up in chronological order. We will have a special overnight security location for these cars ONLY. Any questions please contact me.
All four Mopar magazines will be at the show. They all expressed great interest in this display. There will be other magazines and newspapers that will be in attendance too.
Would you happen to know of any of these cars in California, Nevada, Arizona? Or cars in other western states that might be interested in coming? My current findings are listed below. Some cars I only have vague or incomplete information on. I would appreciate it if you could add information if possible. I don't have a 62 Max Wedge or a 67 Hemi RO/WO car.
