1963 Dodge Polara

1963 Dodge Polara passenger side I started stockpiling parts for it about 2 years ago. I finally got it on the road on Thanksgiving weekend 2000. I've been trying to work out the bugs that come with building a car, (for example, a power steering pump leak).

I’e got a lot of help from friends finding parts and giving me direction on how to do things, and I’ve done some good things to the car, which include:
  • A built 440
  • 3.91 SureGrip
  • Disc Brakes, (which are an easy swap for the guy that thinks this is a difficult task)
  • 1966 Dodge Coronet rear end
  • New front and rear suspensions, which included a pair of Super Stock Springs in the rear.

1963 Dodge Polara rear I’m not a real tech wizard about the tuning aspects of the car, but I can wrench pretty good, hence the direction from friends.

Just one last thing, I have a 17 year old daughter that I built a 1963 Valiant for and she absolutely loves the fact
that she has the only Mopar of that vintage in the school parking lot.		 1963 Plymouth Valiant

Also, the Dodge is featured in the new Need for Speed video game (Carbon). All the audio for the Mopars (Roadrunner, Cuda, Challenger and Charger) in the game are from my car. The pictures below show all the microphones taped on to the car.
